ABOUT HO SUCCESS FOOTBALL OFFICIATING CAMP
The Hubert Owens Football Officiating Camp is an immersive, weekend-long experience designed to develop and elevate football officials through high-level instruction and hands-on training. The camp combines comprehensive classroom sessions, detailed film study, and on-field mechanics work to reinforce rules knowledge, positioning, communication, and game management.

Instruction is led by an elite staff of clinicians that includes current and retired NFL officials, as well as current and retired NCA A Power Four conference officials. Participants receive direct feedback and mentorship from officials who have performed at the highest levels of the game.

In addition, major college conference coordinators of football officials will be in attendance to observe and evaluate talent. This camp provides a unique opportunity for officials seeking advancement to gain exposure, refine their skills, and better understand the expectations of collegiate and professional football officiating.

The mission of the Football Officiating Development Camp is to provide aspiring officials with high-level education, mentorship, and on-field training aligned with national officiating standards. Through structured instruction, evaluation, and exposure, the camp prepares officials to perform with confidence, consistency, and professionalism as they progress in their officiating careers.

FOUNDER
Hubert Owens
Owens brings nearly 30 years of collegiate football officiating experience across the SEC, SWAC, and SIAC. A trailblazer in the sport, he officiated multiple SEC Championship Games and made history as the first African American referee in the 2013 SEC Championship. With assignments in premier bowl games and over a decade developing officials nationwide, Owens is dedicated to preparing the next generation of elite football officials.
